Season nine of the hit reality show "90 Day Fiancé" premieres April 17 at 8 p.m. ET on TLC.

In the show, long-distance couples apply for K-1 visas, which allow non-US citizens to remain in the US with their fiancés. Once the non-US citizen arrives in the US, they have 90 days to get married or they'll be sent back to their home country.

The show has gained a big following among viewers and it's known for presenting interesting conflicts related to cultural differences and family drama. Current worldwide travel restrictions will play a role in the ninth season as well.
