For the first time, the Fast Saga traveled outside of the United States and follows a new character, Sean Boswell (Lucas Black). Boswell feels like he doesn't fit into the world around him, except when he's behind the wheel street racing. Local authorities, however, do not agree with his method of escaping, and, in order to avoid their wrath, Boswell goes to live with his estranged father in Tokyo. Here, he is introduced to drift racing, an even more intense form of drag racing that captivates Boswell.

In 2009, the Fast Saga's core cast of Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Michelle Rodriguez, and Jordana Brewster returned for the sequel, . In this fourth movie of the franchise, Dominic Toretto is forced to return to Los Angeles to avenge the death of a loved one, his girlfriend Letty. Letty was murdered by a drug dealer she was working for undercover and Toretto's rival, Brian O'Conner, is working as an FBI agent hunting him down. Because of this, Toretto and O'Conner are forced to bury the hatchet and join forces to take down this criminal.

Fast Five is the 2011 film that introduces Dwayne Johnson's character Luke Hobbs into the Fast Saga. It follows Brian O'Conner and Mia Toretto as they are forced to travel to avoid the authorities after breaking Dom Toretto out of custody. They make their away over to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where they find themselves hunted by Hobbs, a no-nonsense Fed, and his army of corrupt cops who are working for a drug kingpin. In order to leave a life of running from the law behind, Brian and Dom must partake in the ultimate heist that is worth $100 million.

Fast Five left Dom, Brian, and their entire crew rolling in money in . But as the adage goes, money can’t buy happiness and the two are still being forced to live as fugitives, leaving them unable to be with their families. At the same time, Hobbs is tasked with tracking down a gang of mercenary drivers, one of whom Dom happens to know. Therefore, Hobbs comes to Dom and his crew and asks them to help him take down this gang in exchange for full pardons.
Furious 7 marked the last appearance of Paul Walker's character Brian O'Connor since the actor tragically passed away while the movie was still filming. The movie also shifted the franchise's chronology, as it moves the events of Tokyo Drift to take place after Fast & Furious 6. Furious 7 tells the tale of Deckard Shaw (Jason Stathman), the brother of an international terrorist that Dom and Brian took down and his plot for revenge. Knowing this, a government agent offers to help Dom and Brian get Shaw "taken care of" in exchange for their assistance in rescuing a kidnapped computer hacker who was able to develop a powerful, and highly sought after, surveillance program.

The Fate of the Furious is the eighth installment in the Fast Saga and shows the fast crew finally living somewhat of a normal life. That is, until a mysterious woman named Cipher (Charlize Theron) backs Dom into a corner and forces him to betray his gang. The group must then band together to stop Cipher from causing chaos and destroying the family they built.
Where To Watch Hobbs & Shaw (2019)
2019's is the first official spinoff in the Fast and Furious franchise. It is a buddy action comedy that follows a cybernetically enhanced solider named Brixton Lorr (Idris Elba) who has the capability to eliminate half the world's population. Hobbs and Shaw must put their differences aside in order to take down Lorr and save humanity as they know it.

Where To Watch F9 (2021)

Fast X is said to be one of the last two films of the Fast & Furious franchise. The final movie is to be split into two parts, Fast X being the first one.
