Synopsis
Believing Qin Yu to be dead, his family sets out to avenge him; elsewhere, Qin Yu and Xiao Hei find themselves in an unfamiliar place. While adjusting to this new environment, they encounter a talking cat, which gives him a book with the answers to all his questions. With this book, he learns of Stellar Transformation, a mysterious cultivation method often mentioned in stories to children.
Using this newfound technique, Qin Yu and Xiao Hei set out to the Boundless Ocean to further cultivate. Though their journey is not smooth, they gain new allies and reach new heights.

Xingchen Bian: Yu Li Cang Hai is the seacond season of Stellar Transformation and follows the story of the novel by the same name.
I feel like the other reviews are pretty harsh but I can understand why.
The story first concludes the 1st season (don't ask me why they didn't put the first episodes in the 1st season, they should have) and then takes place in the sea.
The whole season is basically Qin Yu really starting his cultivation, which will be the main objective in the rest of the story. This season is definitely one of my least liked part of the story but it's still ...

The story of Qin Yu's external arts cultivation continues.
Although the action continues, the sense of "hardwork pays off" is less prevalent in season 2. We see our hero gain powerups within the span of days and weeks, rather than the first season where he worked hard for years.
Side characters feel much more expendable than before and are treated as meals.
Although the plot leaves much to be desired, and character development has pretty much halted, the action scenes, which is the main reason why I watch some of these donghua, still delivers.

Don't bother to watch season 2. It is rubbish.
Season 1 is better for story, fighting scenes and character development.
In season 2 there is no character development at all. Just level up and bigger energy-ball, bigger magic circle but it's all crap. the immersion to the world also is bad. The level up is too fast.
There is no story at all just a fighting one after another.
And the fighting there is no tactic nor choreography nor comment nor style. Pure CGI effect with lighting, magic circle and power-ball crap. No different style just pure CGI jargon and make your eye sick.
